OKAY DON’T PANIC

You may notice that the blog has received a huge facelift. Among some fancy changes include:

  • a new fancy sidebar
  • no actual meta link, crudely solved by me with an Account Options page (under pages in the fancy new sidebar) DISREGARD THAT I MADE IT SHOW UP
  • HOLY COW AUTHOR NAMES SHOW UP!

So now, since author names show up… the filter::author categories are no longer really necessary and end up looking pretty dumb. On the other hand, they do allow people to quickly search for all posts by a certain person. Personally, I really want them to go, but for all three and a half people that actually make posts now (and our nonexistant readers), I’d like to put it to a vote. POAST COMMENT HEARE ‘KAY?

Filter::KILL or filter::STAY? Hot damn!

Also, I guess not everyone will like this change. If you want to go back to the good old days, just say “THIS LAYOUT SUCKS,” or if you think the new design is super keen, just say “THIS IS BADICAL.” There is another layout I had in mind (one that doesn’t show author names!), so if you want to see that one before making a decision, just say “Remember that time when you were sliding into the fire pit and I said “goodbye,” and you were like “No Way,” and I was all, “we pretended we were going to murder you?” That was great.” Remember: not all of them display author names, and that is obviously the most important thing here!

    The third one, I can’t do. Sorry. It’s the same thing as the last layout regarding author names. I mean, if I could, then there would be a Meta bar like last time.

    The last one I can try to find a way around. Don’t expect 100% satisfactory results though.

    CAN MAKE THE SIDEBAR OPAQUE but that’s about it with the sidebar.

    Not only that, but I moved author and time before the categories. That should be acceptable.

    So, out of the 3.5 people who visit relatively regularly, I guess I have 2.75 votes for deleting all the filter::author categories. So here we go! THEY ARE BEING DELETED
