Nothings
This post is a fill-in post. I wrote another post, but the video embedding process was going nowhere (contrary to the opinion that I was simply too lazy to give an effort). Anyway, here are some other things I was considering writing before settling on the other thing (which I hope to post eventually).
1) Halo 3 is overhyped. I’m glad it’s been released! Maybe now people can stop talking about it.
2) Why do so many people feel the need to “film” themselves talking into a camera when expressing opinions? Just go to youtube and you’ll see a bunch of featured videos where some clown is in front of a camera offering opinions about the Jena 6. My theory is that these people don’t know how to spell or write in coherent sentences, so they can’t run conventional blogs. They also think they look better than they actually do, and, like most teenagers, they think that other people really care about their opinions.
3) Prescriptivists suck. Too much to say about this, I’ll write a separate post later.
4) The perfect future — a story whose entire basis is a grammar pun.
5) The BEARcade.

You’re right: it’s not like these people doing video blogs are giving us a lecture. They’re just turning on cameras and talking, not utilizing the visual aspect of their video equipment in any real way. In fact, most of the time, how the people look and act in video blogs is just plain obnoxious and/or disgusting. Why can’t people just learn to write or make a podcast or something?
